Vespa Celebrates His 65th Anniversary in Rome

Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Vespa, will celebrate his 65th birthday on 23 April. Icons scooter pizza country was founded on April 23, 1946 in Florence when patented as Vespa Piaggio 98 cc. This became the first Vespa scooters as transport of post-World War II.

Over the past 65 years, Vespa has sold 17 million units and last year recorded sales of 133,000 units. The amount that lasted for five consecutive years by displaying six models and two-fold higher than 2003 with record sales of 50,000 units.

Marking the celebration of his birthday (his birthday), Vespa will do the parade, which will be begun on April 3 and then through various cities using the Vespa PX 2011. Peak event will take place in Rome with a variety of activities.

PX was chosen because it is the most successful model in the history of the company with the highest sales of 3 million units worldwide. Scooter is equipped with four gears with 2-stroke engine with a capacity of 123cc and 150cc.

Well, scooter-mania around the world could join in Rome.
